Adam is experienced in general and restorative dentistry with a special interest in cosmetic dentistry and Invisalign invisible braces. He qualified from Guy’s Dental Hospital in 1991. He was always attracted to studying dentistry, as it was a career that gave him the opportunity to use both his hands and mind. He is passionate about Finsbury Dental Care as they have great clients from all over the world, is based in a wonderful location and offers a great platform to practice. He is proud of the variety of treatments and good quality dentistry afforded to patients.
What he looks forward to most is helping people discover what they want and then delivering the expected result. He keeps a good portfolio of before and after images at the practice and it fills him with pride knowing how happy those patients were with the end results. Simply ask at reception if you would like to see those images! Adam states that “The year ahead will be a big year for the practice when the team adds to our already extensive range of treatments. We recently launched facial aesthetics and the number of patients who realise the effectiveness of Invisalign and dental implants has led to more requests for those treatments”. When the practice doors shut for the day, triathlons are his biggest hobby and outside of his family, he also has an unhealthy interest in cars.
Kevin graduated from King’s College London Dental Institute and has completed a postgraduate certificate in Primary Dental Care. He has a passion for providing comprehensive and high-quality general dentistry, and takes pride in his holistic and gentle approach to patient care. Kevin works very well with anxious patients who may be apprehensive about receiving dental treatment, and has had numerous successes with providing even the most phobic patients with comfortable and pain-free dentistry. Outside of Finsbury Dental Care, Kevin is also a clinical tutor for final-year dental students at Guy’s Hospital with a focus on mentoring in emergency dental care and aiding in their transition from student dentists to fully qualified young clinicians. In his spare time, Kevin is a keen musician – as a guitarist he has performed in a number of groups and bands of different styles and also dabbles in music production.
Phil graduated from Cardiff University in 2016, having previously studied Psychology at the University of Durham. He is a very friendly dentist who enjoys seeing patients from all walks of life. He especially enjoys treating patients who may be nervous or haven’t seen a dentist in a long time. A firm believer in continued development, Phil is currently studying two post graduate masters degrees, the first in Restorative and Aesthetic dentistry, and the later in dental implantology. He greatly enjoys smile makeovers using the most modern and conservative techniques. This can be anything from restoring severely worn down teeth to restore their function and aesthetics, to placing crowns and veneers. Phil also utilises invisalign (clear braces), tooth whitening and composite bonding to transform the smiles of his patients without the need for needles.
Phil is also a provider of non surgical facial aesthetics and rejuvenation, offering treatments in lip and cheek fillers, anti-wrinkle and fat dissolving injections.
Vania qualified in Brazil before moving to the UK and undertaking various further studies in her special interests, including cosmetic and restorative dentistry, facial aesthetics and Invisalign. She is passionate about dentistry and very proud of the great results which she achieves while delivering minimally-invasive dentistry. Nothing makes Vania happier than helping her patients attain a healthy smile they can be proud of. Her clinical skills go hand-in-hand with her natural ease communicating the best treatment options available. In fact, the interaction with patients is what she enjoys most about her profession.
Vania also offers facial aesthetic treatments to patients in Finsbury Dental Care. She likes seeing people looking radiant with the improvements she has helped them achieve and the improvement in their self-esteem. As an integral part of the Finsbury Dental Care, Vania states what she likes most about the practice is that everyone works as a team offering a patient-focused approach, one offered by all of her colleagues. Gavin is our resident root canal expert. Following his first degree in dental surgery at Guy’s Dental Hospital, Gavin went on to obtain a Master’s Degree in Endodontics from the world-famous Eastman Postgraduate Dental Institute. We are very lucky to have him working with us at Finsbury Dental Care. He is a marvelous endodontist and has an extensive network of surgeons that refer-in to him for his specialist help. When not in the practice, Gavin spends plenty of time with his family and topping up his encyclopaedic knowledge of all matters sporting.
Gavin qualified as a Dentist in 1996 in Johannesburg before moving to the UK and working as a general dental practitioner prior to undertaking a three-year training programme in orthodontics at Guy’s Hospital, London. He obtained a Master’s degree in Orthodontics together with Membership in Orthodontics (MOrth) from the Royal College of Surgeons of England. After leaving Guy’s Hospital in 2004, Gavin decided to further his training and was a senior registrar at the Eastman (UCL) and Kingston hospitals where he was awarded his Fellowship in Orthodontics (FOrth). What he likes best about working in Finsbury Dental Care is the close-knit team who all work in the patients’ interest and his brilliant nurse, Danielle. Gavin is able to spend as much time as is necessary with patients in order to give them the best clinical outcome. The great location of the practice is an added advantage. In his spare time, he loves rugby, travelling and getting to know London better as he feels it is the greatest city he has ever lived in. Petros is registered with the General Dental Council as a specialist in periodontics and implant surgery and is also accredited by the European Federation of Periodontology. Petros has extensive experience with the treatment of both implants and advanced gum disease, using the most advanced, scientifically tested and evidence-based techniques, systems and materials. He has a special interest in cosmetic gum surgery, periodontal plastic surgery, improving the smile, and dental implants alone or in combination with guided bone regeneration (GBR). He has experience with most of the major dental implant systems available in the market. Petros has a very gentle and safe pair of hands and will take excellent care of your clinical needs whatever your treatment requirements.
Ewelina “Evie” completed her Diploma in Dental hygiene and moved from Poland to London in 2004. She starts her career in 2007 as a dental hygienist. Being registered with the General Dental Council, she regularly updates herself with the latest knowledge regarding Oral Health. For our patients who may find visiting the practice daunting, Evie has a calming personality, and she always maintains a thorough working approach. One of her main attributes is attention to details, precision, focus and Interpersonal skills.
In her personal time Evie enjoys traveling and Scuba Diving. She also taking boxing classes and love spending time at home with her cats.
Gresy qualified as a dental nurse upon moving to London and has since accumulated a vast experience in the NHS, private and corporate dental care. This wealth of in-the-field experience supports Gresy in her duties, which she thoroughly enjoys.
Gresy’s background includes a master’s degree in biology and a portfolio of activities as a researcher both in Italy and London.
In her spare time, she is a singer of an acoustic duo and performs in pubs and restaurants.
